Ken Burns & Mark Cousins & Mark Stevens

09/05/2011

KEN BURNS in the house again on Monday, Sept 5, 11am-ish. Third year in a row for this casual sidewalk signing: we officially deem it a BTC tradition. Baseball, Jazz, the Civil War, National Parks ... something for everyone!

Joining Ken Burns on our (freshly washed) sidewalk on Monday, Sept 5, for a bevy of booksigning: Mark Cousins ... Scottish filmmaker, film critic, festival director, author. As well as former Denver Post reporter Mark Stevens with his second mystery "Buried by the Roan." This one includes fracking.

FRACKING ruptures more than the earth! So says Mark Stevens, author of Buried By The Roan, a novel set in western Colorado. Mark has written for The Christian Science Monitor, covered city hall for the Rocky Mountain News, produced newscasts for The MacNeil/Lehrer Report, bartended at Wynkoop Brewing Co. Plus a five-year gig at The Denver Post covering Denver Public Schools. And he likes a good Guinness ...
On the sidewalk with Ken Burns and Mark Cousins THIS Monday at 11am.
